Aviation has always been a part of my life. My Father was in the Idaho Air National Guard, so airplanes were a way of life in my household. At age 8, I took flight for the first time in an experimental BD-4 and from that moment on I knew I wanted to be a pilot. I am a father of one and love spending time with my baby girl and my wife. We enjoy boating, camping, riding bikes with and without a motor; but most of all flying to different places together. Over the years I built flight simulators for recreational and educational purposes; finally leading into formal flight training in 2008. Since then I have earned the ratings of Private, Instrument, Multi/single commercials, and CFI, enjoying every part of the process. I started in Diamond aircraft and have since flown multiple other types of Cessna, Piper, Cirrus, Columbia, Kitfox, RV, single and multiengine aircraft. Continuing education and flight safety are very important to me, driving me to love the art of instructing as a Pilot. I also support and participate in the IAA, AOPA, and the Civil Air Patrol. Flying is my passion and I’m always looking forward to the next opportunity to defy gravity. Some of my best memories include flying the skies of the Idaho Backcountry. As a valley local, I love it here, and look forward to helping others experience Idaho from the sky.
